Hurt

Hurt is when you spend your time with someone precious then find yourself alone again; left ... feeling like you can't face the day and cry at night when you thought you were adored…sleep only comes when you finally pass out. You realize that the one who must stay alone all along was you.

Hurt is when you'd sell your heart, you'd swear it wasn't heaven sent get rid of it quick, get rid of it fast so you won't feel its beat...but your tender heart already aching from grief is smashed to the ground as fast as a dart and happens oh so brief…your heart is worthless, like you.

Hurt is when you think you see all the hurt inside of me but you'll never understand the pain you put me through tonight.
